Sometimes the stuff of our world is too much to take in when it’s in full scale. I started taking pictures to claim the time and space to fully comprehend what I was seeing, and later, to compel the memory of what it felt like to stand in its presence.I hope that what caught my eye is interesting to you, too. I've tried to organize some of my favorites here, in categories that make some sense, such as states; state and national parks; or iconic scenic routes (e.g., the Great River Road).
